Before your first visit
What to bring, what to expect.
Your first appointment is about an hour. We get a full picture of your mouth, talk through anything you've noticed, and leave you with a clear plan. No pressure, no surprises.
- Photo ID and insurance cardIf you have Delta Dental Premier, we'll verify your benefits before the visit. With any other plan, we'll help you file for your out-of-network benefits.
- A list of medicationsIncluding supplements. Some affect bleeding, healing, and what we can prescribe.
- Previous x-rays if you have themNot required, but if your last dentist took them recently we can often skip retaking.
- Your questionsWrite them down. Dr. Nauss would rather answer ten questions than have you leave with one.
- Arrive 10 minutes earlyOr fill out your forms online ahead of time and walk right in.
