The Screening Procedure
Dr. Nauss performs a thorough visual and tactile examination of your intraoral soft tissues, checking for white or red patches (leukoplakia/erythroplakia), non-healing sores, or firm tissue thickening.
We also palpate the external jawline and neck to check for swollen lymph nodes. If an unexplained lesion is identified, we document it digitally and coordinate a prompt, gentle biopsy or specialist referral.
