The Bridge Placement Journey
Dr. Nauss prepares the anchoring abutment teeth on both sides of the gap and captures a precise 3D digital scan. You wear a custom temporary bridge while your permanent bridge is fabricated.
At your second visit, Dr. Nauss carefully checks the fit, gum contouring, and bite alignment before bonding the finished bridge permanently in place with medical-grade dental cement.
Flossing and Daily Care
Because the artificial tooth is suspended above the gumline, you will use a bridge floss threader or water flosser daily to clean beneath the pontic. Regular hygiene visits let us keep an eye on the supporting teeth and gums.
