The Same-Day Crown Process
Dr. Nauss numbs the tooth, removes any decay, and shapes the tooth to accommodate the crown. A digital 3D scan captures the prepared tooth and your bite.
Your crown is designed on screen and milled in our office. Dr. Nauss checks the fit, bite, and shade, then permanently bonds the crown in place before you leave. 3D printed restorations are coming to our office soon.
Caring for Your Crown
Treat your crown just like a natural tooth with daily brushing and flossing. Avoid biting down on non-food items like hard plastic or ice, and wear a nightguard if you clench or grind your teeth.
